What is an EXIF data checker for drone photos?
An EXIF data checker reads the information saved inside an original photo file, such as capture time, camera model, altitude, and GPS coordinates. This viewer uses compatible metadata to turn drone images into a chronological capture route.
How do I check image GPS data in drone photos?
Choose the original JPG, JPEG, or TIFF photos from the drone. The image GPS data checker reads compatible EXIF and XMP tags in your browser, then marks every usable location on the satellite map.
Why does a photo checker say image GPS data is missing?
Edited, exported, compressed, or privacy-stripped copies can lose GPS metadata. Use the original files stored by the drone whenever possible.
Can I use this as a drone photo GPS viewer?
Yes. The viewer orders GPS-tagged drone photos by timestamp, then shows numbered stops, route arrows, total route distance, and a moving drone marker.
What is the difference between nadir and oblique drone imagery?
Nadir imagery is captured with the camera looking mostly straight down. Oblique imagery is captured at an angle and can contribute side, edge, roof, façade, and vertical geometry.
How does drone photo coverage analysis work?
For sufficiently large oblique photo sets with pitch metadata, the viewer estimates the capture centre and checks whether camera positions are represented north, east, south, and west of it. A missing direction is a review prompt, not a reconstruction guarantee.
Can Solar EPC teams use a drone roof measurement workflow?
Solar EPC pre-construction and design teams can review a drone route, roof capture completeness, obstacles, and site geometry before ordering a 3D model.
Does the Flight Route Viewer validate a finished 3D reconstruction?
No. It is a browser-side metadata and route review. It cannot inspect image overlap, texture, calibration, occlusions, GPS accuracy, or the final model.
