DWG, DXF and TIFF Exports for AutoCAD
Choose the right format for technical drawing, coordination and documentation. Render-a exports project outputs in DWG, DXF or TIFF, helping your team move from 3D project data into AutoCAD and compatible CAD environments.
Three output options
- DWG: Use for AutoCAD-based work, technical editing, layer management and drawing coordination.
- DXF: Use when exchange with other CAD applications is the priority.
- TIFF: Use for high-quality raster output, visual references, map bases or technical documentation.
Use cases
- Bring roof plans and site context into a CAD environment.
- Prepare technical drawings, surveys, permit packages and construction documentation.
- Coordinate PV layouts with architectural and electrical drawings.
- Use raster maps or visual references as a CAD underlay.
Technical note
DWG and DXF are vector-based CAD formats. TIFF is a raster image format. TIFF can be used as a reference or background image, but it does not replace editable CAD geometry.
